Here are some tips for making your first time on the search
engine easy!
- First Step: Choose the dentist network you wish to search by clicking
on DeltaPremier.
- Note: it is extremely important that you know the plan and network
your company has chosen! Here is a brief description of the plans featured
on this site:
- DeltaPreferred Option (DPO): This is a PPO plan. You can
choose any dentist, but will maximize your out-of-pocket savings if you choose
a DPO network dentist because they have agreed to accept reduced fees as payment
in full.
- DeltaPremier: This is a fee for service plan, often also
known as a "traditional" dental insurance program. It provides a comprehensive
package of dental benefits. You can choose any dentist, but if you choose
a DeltaPremier dentist, the program guarantees you will not pay more than
the patient portion specified in your company dental plan. This plan features
Delta Dental's largest network, with 75% of the practicing dentists in the
United States.
- Second Step: Enter search information to find Delta Dentists. Make
sure to specify the location as exactly as possible. Also, if a city name
(such as "St. Louis" for example) is entered and no dentist matches are found,
try reentering the name of the city a different way (to continue the "St.
Louis" example, try "Saint Louis" or omit any punctuation: "St Louis").
